I'll be seeing this in about 2 weeks. The Charleston Museum has a fabulous new textile gallery, and there are other clothing exhibits up besides this one. It's always worth a visit!

I recently got this mascara from the late 1920s, or very early 30s: I wrote a blog post about it and a little about the history of mascara if anyone is interested.

I love things from 1930, when you can still see the influence of 1920s fashion, but at the same time it's obvious that big changes are on the way.
