WTB vintage black fedora 7 3/8

I'm looking for a vintage black, high to very high quality fedora size 7 3/8 or, ideally 7 3/8 LO. Snap brim- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches. Crown- 5 inches or so measured with a crease. It's not like I have anything specific in mind.....:D

Good question. My wife suggested I wear one because she liked how it looked. I decided I liked how it looked too. I haven't given it much thought beyond that. I assume some people that see me think it looks good, others probably think it looks silly. The people that I work with, and that work...

Well, actually it would have been 7 numbers. WOodward would be 96 so Woodward 5-0045 would be 965-0045. Since it's Detroit the area code back then would have been 313. So Mr. Fogarty's number was 313-965-0045

I just received a Stetson 3X beaver that I purchased on eBay and found something very interesting in the hat band. The initials JWF are on the band and there was a folded piece of paper in to tighten it a bit. I unfolded the paper and found this: Just finding this made the purchase worth it (...

That seemed to be more of a thread on what people put in their own bands so I didn't add to it.
