I wore my seersucker to church on sunday. It is a Joseph Banks 2 button, I received several compliments on it and best of all it was cool and comfortable. This is one of my favorite times of the year here in Alabama, seer sucker and linen suits with spectators and panama hats does it get any better than that. Especially when you can sit on the front porch in the evening and sip a sweet tea and watch the lightning bugs.

If you are going to be in the Twin Cities you should check out Marty Mathis Clothiers. He is a member of the Lounge. I don't know if he has any Seer Sucker suits but he has a great shop by all accounts.

Yeah, the current linen-cotton blend blazers they have are great - I picked up a couple of those, and a 'premium linen' option... the only fault is that for me at least the sleeves are 2" too long, but that isn't a super-expensive fix. I'm very impressed with the fit for the money...

You could check the sale Skyvue mentioned at Jos. A. Bank - it's at Madison and 46th. The prices on the website are pretty remarkable at the moment - they have a nice looking DB seersucker suit in blue, and 3-button in a bunch of colors. They even have seersucker shorts, go figure!

We should all wish Haspel a Happy Birthday, and many more. For it is they who pushed Seersucker into the mainstream for us all to enjoy.

I've been wearing my blue seersucker for the past few weeks on and off to church. I wear it with a blue belt with the SC state flag, a pair of docksiders, white shirt, blue and yellow striped bow tie and a straw fedora with black stitching. I need to upgrade the shoes to bucks. I get called Matlock every time I wear it, and I am probably the coolest guy there. Figuratively and literally. When it's 96-98 degrees at 11:00 in the morning, seersucker is the way to go.
I wish I had bought the tan one I saw when I bought my blue one. They were both $90. I should have bit the bullet then.
