Overpriced junk...

The vest would not remain snapped while riding, tiny little snaps, the leather was nothing special. It went right to the bay...

Lil Joe is dead, the guy who runs it now is just some dude who married his ex, the vest is just a vest really, you can find one just like it at any rally. It just looked and felt like any run of the mill Pakistan vest.

I bought it for $200 on eBay and sold it on eBay for $200.

This is the manufacturer behind the 'Sons of Anarchy' vests. I heard Lil Joe himself was a One Percenter (and not in the Thurston Howell kind of way).

Oh, I hear of them all the time...usually something along the lines of what DR.V stated.

Are they really that bad? I thought they were popular among bikers.

They're popular because of Sons of Anarchy, and back in the day Lil Joe was an actual member of a 1% club and made the vests himself. Now they are just made by a dude it's why they had to change the name from HA Leather to Lil Joes leather.... I don't know.... the vest was very underwhelming. I imagine it's just made by a outsourced company now. A vest that doesn't remain snapped when you ride sucks, I can attest to that.

I can definitely recommend Fox Creek. And Legendary USA offers a few cool looking vests, no doubt made be Schott.

Yes Fox Creek has several nice looking vests. Thus far everything I have seen by them is top notch. I just recently acquired my first Fox Creek jacket. The Grayson.

I don't know. I like my Lil Joe's vest. There's nothing amazing about it, but nothing wrong with it either. I like the nomex lining a lot.

The problem is they sell for $350.00 for a vest, you should really like it a lot.

The snaps on my vest wouldn't stay closed, they blew right open and it was unusable for me. That and I've seen Pakistan vests at rallies that I swear must have been made by the same manufacturer for $65.00.

I do like it a lot, but it is definitely not in the same class an my Aero jacket. I have lots of friends with Pakistani-made leather gear from rallies and the LJ is loads better (IMO).

Lil joes leather used to be HA (Hells Angels) Leather and they were popular because people liked the outlaw connection. The 1st ones werent actually made by Little Joe but were farmed out to Bill Wall Leather. Ive had 2 HA leather and 3 Lil Joes and could never get a good fit due to their weird sizing. For my money check out Legendary Leathers.Com. Their line is American made, more than likely by Schott Bros. Theyre sold by actual inches sizing, 42.44,48 etc and the fir is spoit on and a lot cheaper than Lil Joes. Of all Ive owned the LLs fit the best. (Same quality if not better than LJs)
As a sidenote check out Bill Walls leather vests, the necktag is almost the same as HAs or LJs at THREE times the price !!!
