does your 20s suit have a machine top stitched front edge / lapel edge or is it by hand ?
(the stitch that's about 1cm in from the edge)

I must admit that's difficult for me to be sure of. It does look somewhat uneven, so I'd guess it's hand stitched, though.

cookie, going by the narrow-ish trousers it's most likely early to mid 20s.
however, not everyone (especially older men) would be wearing wide trousers after 1925, so it could be late 20s-early 30s.
