My amazing Alexander Leather B3

Hi guys,
As you have seen I have received last week an Aero ANJ-4. I found it on the sale page of the Aero site but unfortunately I have to return it because of too big on the chest for me. I just receive an Alexander Leather Redskin B3 found in AL's sale page too. The price was amazing. The jacket is amazing too for this ridiculous price (GBP 375)...The fit is perfect on this one. It fits like it was custom made. Very happy with my 1st AL experience....Will be back guys ! Thanks to Debs for her kindness. I have heard about Aero vs AL problems but as a customer, I can say that both have amazing service and products.

Jacket is perfect. I also plan to get a shearling jacket from the AL in the autumn and hopefully it will fits me like Yours.

lol, I don't think so. Or I hope so... But the amazing price was because of the summer is coming and this not the good moment for shops for selling winter jackets !

Their sale page has great offers, wish Aero made similar discounts on their sales page. I picked a Roadster in Horween leather for GBP 325 from there.

They also run a discount on jackets made from bison CXL, which in brown looks quite well.

Great B3 BTW.

A great jacket and at the right price! Score! The fit looks great and the colours too.
The fluffy fleece will settle in time - just wear it as much as you can and in all weathers (the more inclement the better!) and it'll just look better and better …

Does anyone has experience with their A-2's? What leather they use and about the fit?

The leathers are similar to Aero. Mid weight smooth and jerky HH with steer too if you like. I’ve had swatches of both types and the Aero and AL hides are very similar. Never tried on an AL A 2 but I did try a Memphis which uses the same pattern I think, and the armholes are high like Aero’s. I have tried a couple of Aero A 2s over the years and the high armholes in my size makes them a no no. I went up a size with a sale page one a couple of years ago and it was too baggy.

I'd agree with Capesofwrath that the fit is somewhat baggy by the standards we are seeing in Goodwear A2s and more recent Aeros

Good looking jacket. I'm sure it's gratifying to receive one with a spot-on fit just after getting one that is too big.
