You could easily have that repaired but I’d be willing to bet it’s not a Cal. And if age is correct, would be Star Glove (original name before changed to Cal.). I’ve never seen that pattern from Star Glove or Cal. Could be wrong but I’d be very surprised.

Excelled brand is quite well known, actually. They're great jackets, Sears / Fidelity grade jackets. Mid-weight, tough wearing leather. This is one of the nicer styles out there and I believe it'll fit you really well. They're similar to Fidelity and the way they fit is very flattering.

You got yourself a really good jacket. It would be a great deal even at 3x as much.

Thanks for the info. It does look very different from the other Star and CL jackets I have seen but I don’t have the long history with the brand you have. Good to hear your thoughts.

The throat latch is opposite as well.
