The repro version that Aero sells is the one with quilted lining which it’ll be obviously a bit warmer although it’s practically the same jacket (similar difference between the rider and the storm rider).
Actually I believe the jacket you posted is a 91-b, then there is the 191-lb which can come with a quilted lining or a blanket and has got also a corduroy collar. IMHO The best deal is finding a NOS from Lee Japan. An original in deadstock or near deadstock can set you back like a leather jacket.

Nice. I went a different route with my hardware, lining and stitching. This looks great (as a moment of doubt about my choices creeps in).

The funny thing is, I originally was going the exact same route. The brown lining that @red devil used in his blue LW Leathertogs stuck with me. A number of folks here went with the nickel hardware with this color leather and you rave about the OD stitching. I was set to go and then...went almost totally opposite.
I’m intrigued! I can tell you that the wait should be pretty darn short. Three weeks from order to delivery for me. Should arrive tomorrow.

I bought the Sears D-Pocket in size 38 which was linked in the Deals-thread. Expecting nothing too much from the leather but the measurements seem spot on and I like that d-pocket style, so may keep it as a collecting item and have it remade in more serious hide in the future.

The Cal LAPD arrived today and I am stoked. Same leather as my "best and favorite" Cal, this one is more worn in and about 1.5 inches longer. I am very pleased with the fit and the added length is perfect for off-the-bike wear (I really do prefer short(er) jackets to ride). Too hot for fit pics but I snapped these quickly before placing the jacket in the closet and heading back to work.
