copper will patina quick into dull darker brown with some bluish stains, I like it better on jeans than brass that will turn dull yellow and stay like that for years before turning darker or silver/ stainless steel buttons that is eternally silver colored.

I'm definitely a rookie when it comes to denim jackets so I wanted to see what the lounge thinks of this Levis I'm contemplating buying. I don't usually see copper buttons on trucker jackets so Im thinking this might be too flashy/tacky? Made of selvedge denim USA. Worth $100?? New with tags

I have to stop...these damn things are leather jacket killers for me...This is it though. Not another sherpa trucker after this one.

It's impossible to stop with these. I've tried and failed.

The NF looks excellent!!!

Offer $75. You can find it for that if you try. I love Levi’s stuff. It’s not on the same level as my IH stuff but it’s damn good none the less. I love the Sherpa versions. Cheap, warm and bad ass.

I know to most folks they probably look like junk but I just love them.
Levi’s are great but their jeans and jackets are so thin nowadays. I have a few of their trucker jackets and if they were heavier they’d be perfect, the design is still spot on. Iron Heart should flat out copy some of their truckers.

Iron Heart isn't most reliable when it comes to fit but when the get it right, they get it right. I think they work best in smaller sizes.

But still, the best fitting jacket I own is by Iron Heart.

I hear you on the "thin", which is why I haven't picked one up from a local mall. Also the reason why that older stock pre distressed one caught my eye. I was hoping it might be a bit thicker etc but the collar distress does kind of bother me. I even asked the seller if there was one without it and he basically said they all look the same.

I like the sherpa jackets but hate buttoning them up, much prefer the snaps but I only see Levi's do them (blegh)

Even the snaps on my Levi's type III sherpa (blue "Buckman" colour) are a little tricky. It's just the combination of the heavy Denim plus the thick sherpa fleece.

And it's in fact heavy Denim. The jacket weighs 1.3 kilograms! The reason, why I would only buy type III sherpa in Cord again.

I prefer the snaps too. Levi’s does them with the riveted buttons too but the snaps seem to be more common. I think the snaps look a little cooler.

Anyone tried one of these Wrangler 124mjs from the Icon range? I much prefer the look of these to the Cowboy Collection jacket, but am a little wary they might have screwed up the proportions because I know they've added a little length and slimmed the sleeves slightly. Can't tell if they'e totally modernised/ruined it from the official photos as I can't even tell of Pretty Boy is wearing a low waist, given his shirt is hanging out and I know they're not the cowboy cut jeans (which is what I'll end up wearing any denim jacket I were to buy with).

Naked and Famous arrived. It’s going back. Far too short, no sleeve lining and it feels cheap. Levi’s is the undisputed king of the Sherpa trucker. At least that’s my feeling until I get my hands on the IH model.

Not lining sleeves on this model of a jacket is really freaking stupid! That just doesn't make any sense at all. Fashion garbage. Levi's makes the best sherpa trucker, no debate there.

Hello!
Just received a Japanese Lee 101 Storm Rider.
I´ve been told that would be OK to wash it by hand in cold water with salt to prevent color lost in future washes. I know the less I wash it the better.
can anybody explain?
Thanks

Joan

Yesterday, on my favorite old main-railstation in the next bigger city, a freakin' yummy blue Double-Denim woman (circa 30) stood next to me when our train arrived. Short and curly chestnut-red hair. Sooo cute! Not in the sence of "hot", but "yummy" and crunchy. :D
In such cases, I can tolerate skinny jeans.
