When we went for a walk through the dunes, my gf was complaining that she had to listen to the conversations of those walking before and those walking behind us. That's how crowded it was.
I have no idea what you guys are talking about but it sounds awful. I never go anywhere near nature myself if I can help it so I can't say if those sorts of capers go on here.

Got it. I checked their online store and it's pretty much the same type of clothing I see people wear here but looks like it's more slimmer. My local weather is too mild and I don't do any hard core outdoors activity that would necessitate specialized clothing so I'm lucky I don't have to spend much. Flannel shirts are just cool, really cozy and love how easy to wear it is

Yes the Simmons Bilt goat is very comfortable and not too heavy in weight. Also not too hot , except for the other day when I posted that shot. ANY jacket was going to be too hot that day !

I've got a decent "oil man sweater", an old Pendleton I scored on Maxwell Street years ago, with buttons made from Buffalo nickels(!). One elbow was shot, but still worth the bargain purchase. These days my GF has stolen it as her house sweater, doubt I'll get it back... which is fine, gives me an excuse to buy another sweater.
My first coach had a fruit and veggie stand on Maxwell St!

This was acquired on the most recent incarnation of 'Maxwell Street', on Des Plaines north of Roosevelt. From "The Sweater Guy," who... only sold sweaters. Proper wool ones. Like $5 each or something nuts, off of a folding plastic table. Maybe 7 years ago? Used to go every Sunday & hit Rubi's for Quesadillas, my friends called it "going to church."
