Many of their jackets seem to have this trapezoid-style Talon zip. I don't think it's like any of the ones on the big Talon zip guide here. Any ideas when this would be?

This is a zipper has not been documented. Velcro began use in 1958, so no older. The Velcro looks to be original. I may have this zipper on one of my jackets. I will have to take it from the "needs fixing pile", interesting zipper issue.

The Talon are very commonly used but not past 1960. 1960 could be a fair date. Just guessing. I'm intrigued by this Brand. I will follow back this thread, I don't recall the content. Seems I have come across this label in advertising. Steerhide, UPS Brown, button down collar, even the wear on the collar seems right. I'm most impressed with the pants!

Pretty darn clean Old Herc. Liner has some expected wear. Not size specific other than Seller stating its a "small" size. Offers accepted. Someone could score a decent deal on this it appears.

Here is the zipper I was referencing it is attached to a near mint California Sportswear police jacket. I have not been able to more accurately date the jacket than 1950s. This jacket has the same same Talon sleeve zippers.

Main Talon looks to be the same with an arched opening. Now I have them together, there are differences.

This is very nice! Mine looks similar, but does not have the half-belt. I do like the Red lining. Neither will fit me. I do have two now that do.

looks like more than patina I received some close-up pictures looks like the leather is flacking and cracked

It does look great and my kind of style too but at 18" pit to pit that won't fit me as well.
