There used to be a care section on Brent Black's website that recommended putting orange peels in the hat box. You would have to eat a lot of oranges to keep fresh peels in your hat box(es). -

What did I just buy???
Well the hat came in last week. It's a pretty low quality hat. The crown is kind of soft, but you could chop wood with the brim. And the sweatband is the cheapest I've seen. It started to tear when I turned it down, and not because it was brittle. The sweatband is stamped with "Imported by... -

Where is that shop at? Maybe I'll go back to Norfolk one day. Dinerman, While it's not a shop you could go to the Museum of the Confederacy to see hats worn by famous people. I've been drawn to the hats there even before I started wearing anything other than baseball caps. -

Hat Pins or Not??
Borsalino? I have a few extra bucks in my paypal acct... Are these all new pins or do some go back a little? The only hat I have with a pin is my Brent Black panama. He puts a BBB pin in each hat he sells. I didn't see any reason to remove it. -

Ebay #1: Nice Hat, but looks right?
If it's a 4 1/2 (FR) that should be a 7 (US). If you wear a 7 1/8 then you should be able to stretch it one size. I stretched an old Borsalino that turned out great. An antique stretcher would pay for itself in no time if you bought size 7 hats and stretched them to 7 1/8. -
