A 40s Pimp Hat? Do you dare bid?

Might be a Zoot Hat. But that's a big might. It appear to be a ladies hat more likely. Something you might see at Santa Anita durring the 1940's or later. That's my take on it anyway.

I looked before I read Daniels opinion, and I thought ladies also.
However, didn't all ladies hats use to be the same size, like 6 5/8 or such?

IT MAY HAVE BEEN CUSTOMED MADE . THERE WERE A LOT OF CUSTOM HATTERS YEARS AGO ,SO WHO KNOWS . IF YOU ARENT SURE DONT BID .

I'm not a great expert, but even at first glance I'd have to say that the only way that could be a "40s hat" is if it was manufactured in a sweatshop on 48th Street sometime in the 80s.
