Barbour wax on leather??

Does Barbour make a wax for leather?
I've come across a leather jacket where the owner says they applied Barbour wax to the collar.
I'm only familiar with it being used on cloth.

I've only heard of it for re-waxing a 'waxed cotton' coat as well.

I've rewaxed a Barbour a couple of times. The stuff Barbour sells for their traditional waxed cotton coats (as opposed to the new polymer coated ones) is a wax/Lamp oil mixture that needs to be heated. While it seems to have a lot of ingredients in common with Obenauf's, it definitely wasn't designed for leather jacket use.

From a thread on VLJ it seems someone used Barbour wax on the lining of an A2 on sale on eBay to 'reduce wear' yuk!
