Eastman Leather Werber 33' questions

I just picked up a ELC Werber on eBay for 255pounds. Is it a good deal?

Per eastman website, this is not "warhorse" horsehide, but full grain horsehide. Why would so many people in this forum says that it is "warhorse" leather? http://www.eastmanleather.com/product_info.php?products_id=168

Is it the most favorite Eastman A-2 in this forum?

You got a good deal! Werber A2s usually go for quite a bit more than this. The horse hide is very close to original 1933 Werbers and perhaps this is the reason ELC does not make them from their Italian Warhorse hide. It is certainly one of my favourite ELC A2s as it has several features unique to this and the other pre-1939 Werber contracts. .

I would have bid on this if the sleeves have not been altered. But yes, it is a nice jacket, as I remember, it also has the hookless zipper which distinguish itself with the majority of A-2s. Nice buy!
