Well that does it! I was thinking exactly the same thing...that hat is a "Target" complete with a Bulls eye!

Many savvy eBay bidders don't throw in right off the bat. Waiting til the auction is about to end keeps something you want from being bid up by the duffers. You can't go wrong with a hat from our own @Miamibruno He is great to deal with and always sells quality.

Then I shall bid with confidence in the future with Miami's hats. This man carries a stock of promising lids.

    Greetings Mondo et al:
What Red said...sage advice! I think you will find that many, many times during bidding, especially with much sought after hats, the bidding is dead till the last 6 seconds, then the hundreds come out.
Happened twice tonight, one Vita felt Strat and a sweet 3x Mode edge. If you see something you like, keep it under your hat, figure out your max bid and buy the farm, in the last few seconds. If you don’t get it that’s just because someone else liked the land better. IMHO
That’s a nice hat, by the way, of Miami’s. Good hunting.
    Be well. Bowen

I just picked up this NOS Stetson Nostalgia in mink (dark drown) for a reasonable price.

Ah the curse of the big head. I try not to torture myself by even looking at the incredible vintage hats in smaller sizes.

    I'm a 7 5/8 to 7 3/4. I must have done something terrible in a past life.
