Glad you watched Justified Max. Lol
Your rise to a hat collection, beyond my imagination, has been a treat for me to watch. I don’t comment much on your acquisitions as over time i have lost the words, i just say “Oh my”, over and over.
    Thanks for being here.

    Lol
I’ve pulled over from driving many times to be there for the last 6 seconds of an auction. Thank heavens for phone alarms and unlimited data plans. I’m used to rolly eyes and “wtf’s”! I just tell em “it’s my turn”! Lol

Just won what I sure hope is an embroidered last drop Open Road. Been looking for one for a while. Seller didn’t respond to my query, but after carefully comparing many photos I’m pretty certain it’s embroidered.

Good, then I'm not the only one sitting on the edges of a Wal-Mart parking lot watching hats expire on eBay.

Very well said Max. I think you joined the lounge around the same time that I did. I too only joined to ask a question, and naturally that one question turned into more questions, and buying more hats than I originally had intended. I don't participate in the lounge much as far as posting and commenting goes, but I stop in nearly every day and enjoy seeing your hats, as well as everyone else's. I appreciate your additions to the Lounge and thank you for sharing them with us.

  19. My guess is it was done up for a costume........It was fashionable for women to wear toppers and net up their hair when riding at different times.
Additionally, hair pieces for women have been around for centuries.....so, also may be a women either adding to her hair or hiding shortened hair..........hard to say.......
My, best guess is costume as I first stated.......
