any one else missing scrabulous bigtime??
I'm on Facebook a lot more these days, so please look me up under Timothy Doran at Berkeley. I'd love to make y'all's acquaintance there. I'm in various Facebook societies of vintage interest; my Facebook page lists many of the vintage-oriented Facebook groups.
I'm also pretty active on the Facebook Global Atheist discussion group if any of you are interested.
(Don't be scared, I don't hate all Believers in Invisible Beings. My wife is Catholic.)
Toodle-oo / A toute a l'heure,
I have two Facebook accounts. One is real and the other is a fictitious account I set up one day on a lark for a little rubber skeleton that hangs from my rearview mirror in my automobile. I call him Lucky Eddy. It is sad to say but the fictitious account has more “friends” then my real one dose, but I am O.K. with that as I am quite selective with who I add on my real profile, as I mainly use it to keep in touch with old classmates and family. However, if any of you loungers would like to add my real profile (which I would gladly do!) you are more then welcome too, if you can figure out who I am via Lucky’s profile. I will drop hints and clues for anybody that is interested. A bit of a game, I suppose. I do love games. I don’t know I am bored, lets get something going if there are any game players out there…
First clue: My real name is not Luke, it actually starts with an “A” and is Hebrew for “the breath of life”.
Lucky Eddy is a member of the facebook lounge group for those who are inerested...
I have ramped up my Facebook page and favoring it now over MySpace.
If you feel like it, invite me to be a friend....
Search for Brian Sheridan
City: Erie, PA
I'm on there - Avalon as usual.
I'm on facebook as well.
Im on facebook! I resisted for months until my friends said I had to join!
So I did! It was so addicting at the start, but Im a bit more casual now. Good to see FL has its own group!
Just joined the group myself! Had a facebook account for a while now but never used it. And yes- I agree with the majority... Myspace seemed like a giant popularity contest. I had an account for 2 and a half years and finally deleted it a month ago.
Do Facebook's servers seem slower than usual these past few days?
A COUPLE OF FACEBOOK GROUPS I RECOMMEND
Many, many Fedora Loungers have already joined these groups. They really exist. Come on down.
1.) Society for the Annihilation of Tie-Dyes
2.) We See And Deplore The Decline of High Culture
3.) I don't care how confortable Crocs are - you look like a dumbass
4.) I have a 1930s Fetish
5.) Church of Frank Sinatra (San Francisco and Los Angeles)
See you on Facebook!
Yeah on Facebook, its great, found some people I haven't seen in years, and found it a good way to keep in touch when I travel overseas.
I to have joined the lounge crew
I've only joined a few groups:The Straight Razor Preservation Society and The Art of Manliness Tribute to the Straight Razor oh, and The Fedora Lounge.
I am there too... Joined the Fedora group the other day....
Ive noticed since they have the "New" Facebook that things seem to take longer than the old site did!
I thought it was just me, but was a bit baffled since my connection is usually pretty fast
I have a facebook. I'll make sure to join the Fedora Lounge group on there.
I just joined Facebook last night. I wanted to have some way of keeping in touch with old friends. I just joined the FL group, too! I'm there as Eric W. Sisco.
I've just re-discovered facebook, just look for Jo Teeuwisse.
Bye bye myspace!
I have a personal Facebook account under the same handle I use here -- skyvue -- and one devoted to my small online business, which features T-shirts with vintage graphics.
I'd love it if some FL'ers would "fan" that page -- helps with the viral marketing, don't you know.
Just do a Facebook search on "cladrite" and it'll turn up.
Yes, that is wonderful, but you might also consider adding the rest of us as "friends" on Facebook if you like.
Again, I'm Timothy Doran in Berkeley. Please all of you, once again, feel free. I have met many Loungers in person and I always enjoy meeting more. I have met about 30 and so far no turkeys!
I am on face book as well "Mark Davids" Amsterdam
