How do you guys look through buyee? The site doesn't list more than 10% of actual hits for anything. Like, it will show just one "Vanson horsehide" jacket while there's a dozen on yahoo auctions right now.
Only 6 hours to go with no bids yet, nice catch
I search auctions.yahoo.co.jp instead, it's not as hard as you might expect and their reccomendation feature works quite well

Super heavy Vanson C2 from the 80s/90s in perfect condtion....I'm starting to cry as ~320€ seems to be a reasonable price IMO.

@air If you buy through remambo.jp you can reduce the total amount (perhaps to 50€) on the commercial invoice in order to reduce import duty and VAT.I've been looking for one like this, in this size too ^^
Real price will be higher though, shipping this will add 50€ at the very least, and there would be vat on top too

You can just search directly through Yahoo Auctions Japan as recommended by @air or refer to my post in another thread on the subject. It’s hard to search for stuff on Buyee, but once I found this “trick” it really opened everything up.

A lot of times Vanson will be listed as Banson or many times it will be listed in outerwear as a racing jacket. Freewheelers will many times get listed under The Real McCoy’s. Sometimes you’ll even see “Vanson” in the title but when you put it in the search bar, it won’t come up. It’s pretty weird.

@jeo I saw this one, too and was tempted to buy it at this price as the fit would be perfect for me but due to my New Year's resolutions forbids me buying it

I’ve tried to adopt the “one in, one out” rule. I just bought a jacket and just sold one. Probably won’t be able to stick to it though.

@Carlos840 Perhaps I will make an exception and buy one but would sell another one. Would you rate this Vanson over newer Vanson and over the Branded Garments I also posted today?
I have never handled a Branded Garment jacket so can't comment on that.
What i like about this specific Vanson you posted is the fact that the hide itself is a light brown/beige rather than the classic blue/grey that i usually see.
My 90s Swedish rider Vanson is like that and it is very nice leather. It is the only Vanson i own that is "teacore", it's not something you see everyday.
It's really not a massive difference, but it's a little detail that i enjoy. But really i have a Vanson "problem", i currently have 10 and am always on the lookout for more...
Just saying that if you really want to keep your resolution, you are making it harder for yourself if you actively search for beautiful jackets in your size
