Thurlow deer, sz 44, $125 + shipping w/ offer https://www.ebay.com/itm/Thurlow-Deerskin-Jacket-44-Dark-Black/114626091315 I have a Thurlow car coat that I like—looks good, really beautiful coloring—but it's not what I'd call robust. Can anyone comment on the riding jackets?
Not my cup o tea for riding. I had one for roughly 24 minutes. It had serious issues that weren’t disclosed by the seller, but honestly, I was glad so that I could send it back. I agree, not very robust. The leather looked good but I need a bit more from my leathers. And something felt off with the fit. I dunno, a bit restrictive and it just felt a bit off. It was simply a jacket I knew I would not wear. Glad i did not have to resell it.
Thanks. And yeah, I've noticed that in all the pictures I've ever seen of their riding jackets, there's something about the form/construction/shape...something...that looks odd. Are there brands that made/make good deerskin riding jackets?
Branded, women's size 12, whatever that means; $30 + shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/BRANDED-GA...YCLE-JACKET-WOMENS-SIZE-12-U-S-A/154297818173
I would confirm with @red devil but LW seems to be an option. I’m limited in my knowledge of deerskin. If you are talking vintage, I’ve no clue. I was hoping the Thurlow would work but It didn’t for me.
The LW deerskin is treated with a water repellent, but it won't be as water resistant as horsehide. I haven't tried mine on the motorbike as I tend to reach for other jackets, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well
Apologies if this has already been posted Levi's Trucker XL for $55 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Levis-Prem...066718?hash=item2f5310b4de:g:am0AAOSwNntgDH2m

I'm pretty sure that everything from Israel ships for free. I heard that the Israeli gov't subsidizes their shipping to help with International commerce. Perhaps someone with more information could follow up and confirm this.
Thurlow is that Brand. They ended their business making jackets primarily made for riding. I have their 1956 catalog and it shows a traditional western deerskin offering. A bit more detailed and tailored than similar shops working in Deerskin. They originated in Portland Oregon and closed in San Diego. I believe I know the man selling this jacket. He knew the owners and has many Thurlow jackets. I don't know any other deerskin maker that did much with motorcycle wear. Occasional Cafe Racer, but those are seldom seen.

Not really a find or a deal, but an interesting Schott: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Schott-Leather-Jacket-/274659915949?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
Who was the lucky one to buy this RMC for just that price? https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/u403437553?conversionType=mypage_closed_watch_list
I saw this on eBay, and I got a bit curious. I haven't noticed any A2 jackets by Schott before. Most of what I see mentioned here are cross zips or motorcycle jackets. Any thoughts you would care to share about the jacket, please? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Sc...-/143928727501?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 Thank you!
