How would one achieve this fabulous hairstyle?

hello ladies,can i have hair help?????
im doing a lindy hop routine this summer for some thing,not exactly sure what "thing" it is yet, and i want to have this hairstyle,it may be impossible since it was a cartoon add for stockings,but....

It looks to me like that might be a variation on victory rolls -- two rolls up the sides of the head. If so, there's a lot of information on basic setting techniques here. Look especially at the link for the video tutorial on how to do reverse rolls.

I think it's a center parted do with rolls on each side and the back just curled.
