There's a new biography out about aviation pioneer Eddie Rickenbacker. Its well researched and a pretty balanced depiction. Definitely worth a look if you're interseted in The Great War, Early Aviation or even just a neglected period of American history.
Its not The Aviator, but it is interesting!

Captain Eddie

Wow. Nice link. I have the ORIGINAL autobiography by Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, himself. Fabulous reading. From fighter pilot, to corporate manager. survivor of a DC-3 crash, and being shiprwrecked for days out in the ocean with only a rottten orange to eat. He is a true hero.
