I have a lot of my old radios in 100% working condition, though an equal amount not. I also wish I would get more decent AM stations too.

Very nice refrigerator, Gilbey. Quite impressive that it runs after all those years.

Here's my most-used vintage item. It's not much to keep in working order, but it's vintage enough, probably from the '40s.

A Philadelphia Transit Company ticket punch:

The non-vintage nylon rope (attacked to a similarly non-vintage pliers holster), was added to keep me from dropping the punch out of my vest pocket every darned time I go to throw a switch.

Gilbey,
My nana had a similar refrigerator. I remember the "snap" that the handle made while I was looking for treats.

My KLH turntable and speakers bought new in 1965 are soon to be vintage. I replaced a needle recently and it plays like a dream. I have lots of LP's and all my 45's :).

I have a 'project closet' of things that don't work, but 99% of the things actually somewhere in my house are in operational order. TV's, radios, lamps, clocks, phones, etc, etc.

I carry my 1956 Minox "spy camera" loaded with b/w film everyday:

And I regularly use a whole variety of photo equipment, movie projectors, audio systems, etc., of mostly 40s-70s vintage.

We are currently in the process of completing the restoration of a new house,
a rather interesting early bungalow, which will be a bit more "correctly" period.

For this home I've already accumulated the following:

For the bathroom, a set of Standard fittings circa 1910

1918 Edison W-250 Diamond Disc phonograph (for dining room)

1923 Hoover model 525 vacuum sweeper (1st floor, needs re-bristled brush roll)
1928 Wesern Electric 151AL desk stand telephone
1931 Western Electric 653A wall telephone
I've finished the restoration of the above items, save for the brush roll on the Hoover.

I need yet to find a period washing machine (pre-1932, would really prefer an Easy
with spin drier, but will consider any sound restorale machine. Has anyone any
suggestions?)

Vitanola, that list is impressive. What a fantastic undertaking. Some photos would be great. Thanks for sharing.
