You'll have to ask Art, it will be more accurate than me taking a ruler to measure the crown.

I wear straws so often here in Orlando I thought I'd try something new and get one in a brown. PanamaBob had these so I picked one up. Definitely different but I think I will like it in the right circumstances...

This hat came with a hat box that I wanted. I think it may be a later model whippet knock-off. The felt is very thin but in good shape.

Anybody know any information about Bench Brooke?

Color is Lattuga(Lettuce). Sold as Size 59 but tagged 4-1/2(56). The lettuce is fresher than the photo shows, its definitely a green hat.

Thank you, sir. I got it for an event. I'm going to my doctor's retirement party in a couple of weeks and I bought this to go with the camel sport coat I'm going to wear that evening. I've only had for a couple of hours and it might already have become my favorite lid.

I have to say, that modern Whippet looks pretty nice, fmw. What are the dimensions?

Thanks, gents. The crown measures 4 7/8" at the high point and 4 1/4" at the front. The brim measures just a hair wider than stated on the tag. I measured it at 2 7/16". The hat band is 1 1/2". I don't know how these measurements would compare to an original Whippet. But there you have it.

I got this yesterday from Mr E Train. Its a brown Miller Bros Gold label porkpie.

Its a nice quality hat in great shape. Although I like it, Im not sure I love it. But there it is.
