The "Royal Stetson DeLuxe" is mid-40's. By the 50's, Stetson had altered the name of this quality designation to "Royal DeLuxe Stetson".

That is a very beautiful Mayser in mid gray. I love this hat. The felt is very thin and leight.
I have won the Auction, arrived today.

Walnut Cavanagh

Beautiful felt but the ribbon has been replaced with one of mediocre quality during a cleaning at some point in its history. '40's? 2-5/8" brim and very thin sweatband sold by Capper & Capper in Chicago.

Royal DeLuxe Stetson St. Regis gray.

Another felt in fine shape with a poor replacement ribbon.[huh]

For Soda Fountain fans, the house was built in 1900 for Lewis Blessing of the Bastian-Blessing Company

Golden tan Tilden from Henry the Hatter in Detroit. 5 1/2 open crown, 2 1/2 brim with thin edge binding. 1" ribbon. Original price $10. It's called a lightweight and has nice, light pliable fur. It needs a cleaning, but not a bad hat at all. I was the only bidder.

Thanks, Ale. I have 2 of these now, both are from Henry the Hatter, so I don't know if Tilden made the hats specifically for HTH or made for others also. Maybe someone here knows?

I just checked Henry the Hatter's website. Tilden hats made exclusively for HTH for 75 years this year. It appears they are still selling the Tilden Brand. Couldn't find anything else in particular about the maker.
