The Resistol website shows only cowboy hats with mostly wide brims, unless I missed a small corner where they're listing Fedoras.
Resistol sold some in the 70s/ early 80s... more of a western/ fedora crossover called the "Western Fedora" . There may be some recent ones, but I havent seen anything like that from them in the last few years

Echter Mayser "Superbe 3 Star", 58 cm, possibly late 1950s. Made for the Mayser Flagship store "Hut-Seidel München". Anton Seidl, the owner of the J. A. Seidl hat factory took over sole ownership of the Mayser hat factory 1918. The Black Felt is finally finished and easily dry creases. This type of Bow work was common In the time period. Finally executed Brim Binding work. Excellent overall condition.

"Hut-Seidel München" had their own Paper Label. Dieses Etikett bei Nachbestellung desselben Hutes einsenden / Please use this label when reordering the same hat.

New hat friday! This ones a nice little 3x Beaver Royal Stetson. Nice wide bound brim edge. Someone had done a really nice job at layering some really thin cardboard under the sweatband. They even wrapped the cardboard in tissue paper before putting it in. Just a hair snug, but after removing the cardboard its a perfect fit, ( no stretching needed). Overall really nice condition... no stains or holes on felt, the liner is moderately clean, the leather sweatband is in great condition. Hit it with a little steam and its good to go!

Fed Ex just dropped off a box for me.... 2 pounds of grey /tan fuzz in a 1/2 pound box lol No prob as the felt is actually clean and in good shape. Little brushing and steam and the wrinkles are gone and the brim is straight. its pretty decent all things considered

The sweatband is pretty much toast but no prob, Ive got a few nice ones in the parts box I can sew in. Ill just stick the loose sweatband edges back on with some double sided tape for a few days so I can wear it till I get around to sewing a new one in. Its an Adam Premier with a 3" brim and 5-1/2" crown. Nice little Open Road-ish / Rancher-ish thang. The tag says its a "Lone Star" style and the color is "SILBILLY" ( thats a new one for me) . Nice bound brim edge with a three row band. Liner is in nice shape, and there are just a couple little spots up top that seem to be brushing out just fine. Nice smooth lightweight felt. Trying to figure out whether to do a new black or brown sweatband. ... Going to be a nice hat

Hückel Weilheim, "?" , 57 cm, possibly late 1950s. Unfortunately it has some heavy wear to the thin ribbon due to sweat + dirt collection. Also the liner is torn so the model information is missing. Other than that it's in good condition. The taupe color felt has a fine finish + easily dry creases. Also very nice brim binding work and an interesting thin ribbon + bow. This Soft Felt came with my recent Mayser "Superbe 3 Star" (which is in pristine condition) and they were from the same original owner.

Here's something you don't see every day (at least I don't). An American-made Lord's Hat. There are no indications that this hat was made by any particular company except for the crest logo on the liner and the sweatband. This is the logo of Worth Walden. Additionally, under the liner is a reorder tag, which, like a previous post of mine in the Worth Walden thread, I presume is from Resistol. The nap and finish of the hat is very interesting, and the felt, as with my other hats from Worth Walden, is divine.

Your previous post reminded me I had these photos to post here, as well. I purchased it thinking I was getting a brown homburg which is missing from my collection. I recognized the crest so I knew (though the seller didn't) what brand I was getting (I am a huge fan of this Dallas, TX company). What I received was a very pleasant surprise.

Love that ribbon and bow treatment, Marcel.

If Borsalino didn't make it, then some other one of the great Italian hatmakers did. But my money is on Borsalino.

In some or other thread, Daniele has explained why Borsalino covered their tracks with another name due to import tax reasons.

P. & C. Habig Wien "Special", 57cm possibly 1950s. The Black Felt is of a heavier weight but still easily dry creases. . The Band is a medium width with a frayed Bow. The Sweatband is wide and made of very high quality leather. This Sweatband type is common with 1950s era P. & C. Habig Wien Soft Felt Hats. The wide 3 inch Brim makes for a great Form. I believe this Soft Felt Hat was possibly cleaned + restored by P. & C. Habig Wien.
