My new Lee

On - This is an accurate representation of the colour:

Very nice Billy! Looks sharp and with a casual, thin-ribbon sophistication.

JtL and Gene:

Thanks - I've been waiting for this one, too. GREAT fit, great guts, nice moss kinda color, and except for a slight moth grazing in one spot ( on the top "hump" of the left dent, so hardly noticible ), perfect body. I was very fortunate with this one I'm really happy with it. I think it was poorly listed and that saved me a fight.

This one's going to make some of you sick. :D

Thrift store find, $5 for this near perfect Stratoliner. I already have a box for it too. Late-1940s, early 1950s. The pinkish color matches my Open Road.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, I HATE YOU :)

THe closest I've ever gotten to a Strat was a old ragged one that the band was 1/2 tore out and the wanted $40 for it.

sigh, guess I have to keep looking.

Jut got a couple hats in from Garrett today. Thanks Garrett!

First one up; Mossant Homburg style yet with a thin ribbon. I have plans to put a little swoop in the front brim and to replace the ribbon with a wider vintage one I've held in abeyance for such an occasion. It's a great hat as is but I'm gonna tweak it a little.

Thanks, Mr. P. and GoneSolo.

This Dobbs is the same model as Alchemy5150 is sportin' at the top of this page. They are very good alternatives to Whippets. I think he'll be pleased with his, although they are more likely '40s to early '50s era products.

Nice one, Bill. I sold a lid just like that one to Portolan a few months back. I'm thinking mid to late 40's.
