Question on hat bashing

Hi

I have a hat that is purely bashed as a Fedora.
I like how the crown is but I'm talking about the brim here
As a traditional fedora it goes upwards on the back and downwards on the front
Now would it be possible for me to have it straight all around? I mean just plain straight
It seems that when I try to get it straight on the back it moves more downwards on the front and vice versa. It seems that it's not loose enough to be straight all around.
To be honest, I'm playing with its shape after rainy days
Would steam give me some more flexibility ?

what you have is a snap brim meant to be snapped up or down

if you want it flat see the post about ironing the brim in the thread mentioned above

use extreme caution if you do this because you can pretty much destroy the brim if not executed properly
