Taupe Suit DB - what color ties?

Wearing a 52 regular makes finding a vintage suit fairly remote. Anyway I needed a suit and got a Taupe one that fits very well, but I am not sure what color ties will "GO" with taupe.

Sugestions?

A brown that's relatively darker then the taupe. Maybe with a 40s-esque print.

Believe it or not but, purple would work. I have a toupee colored 40's short jacket that looks good with a dark purple tie from the 30's.

The mentioned colors thus far are very good! I'm very impressed guys!

A list of colors you could consider..... (some have been mentioned before)

Dark Red,

Dark or light Gray,

Dark Blue,

Dark Green,

Dark Brown,

Burnt Orange,

Dark Purple,

and Black. (even though black isn't considered a color)

And the only catch to this is that you must post a photo of you in your suit with a tie you like! Aside from that, the advice is free

Taupe time.

I like Navy ties with taupe. I think it gives taupe a clean look. I agree with Wild Root about purple. That would be my second choice. A lighter red would be my third choice.

What I wear my taupe jacket with:

cream and lavendar print shirt and dark green pants
medium blue sweater, dark brown skirt
medium blue sweater and blue/black/mustard plaid skirt
