Great job on the sides, an old cap liner should give the cap a great full look if thats what you want to do. I gotta get some material and start crafting. Enjoy!

I agree. I was having a little trouble with the liner, so I thought since this fabric is pretty thick I will just finish without it. I will put one in on the next ones.

I have to work on it a little more to get it right, like the lining, and also I miscalculated with the leather sweat, as you can see, but it does have a nice shape.

Pendleton Wool Tweed Newsboy

Here is my beloved and well worn 8-panel "Newsie" made from Pendleton wool / brown herringbone tweed (made for me by Hat People of Oregon). This photo was taken back in 2010 while relaxing between frames at my daughter's 11th birthday party at a local bowling alley.
