How to make a cap. It takes quite a bit of work to make a basic cap let a lone a newsboy.:) Plus all the special sewing machines.
An the up keep on that.

Right, when I watched Art or Mike make a hat at FedoraFest it looked easy. Not accounting the money for all the equipment and the hat blocks by the thousands and the room full of Ribbons and Room full of Hat bodies. An the hours invested in learning the craft. This video showed a couple of sewing machines that really make the job a snap with out them a cap can be quite a task.

I never knew it took so many diffferent machines to properly complete a cap. I've made one a couple years ago without a liner, and I used similar steps from the second video. It turned out all right from the outside but the inside is hideous. Also to make the cap look full I cut out a liner from one of my old crowncaps and put it in the one I made. If anyone is interested in seeing it ill post in show us what you made, and one for this thread. just got to snap the pics.
