The infamous long lost Nazi Gold Train is again in the news!
To recap: in the last weeks of WWII, Nazi officials supposedly filled a train with stolen loot that they had acquired while ransacking Easter Europe. The plan was to get the treasure into the west either to finance the continued fight against the allied powers OR to fund the escape of Nazi leaders. Either way, the train didn’t make it. Soviet forces were moving too fast and swamped the retreating Germans. In the confusion, the legendary “Nazi Gold Train” was hidden in a secret tunnel in what today is Poland. Treasure hunters have been following rumors and searching for fame and fortune ever since.
This week, claims are again being made that someone has stumbled upon the location of a secret buried railway tunnel…
