Vintage at your prom?

Did anyone wear vintage to their prom? Mine in 04 was not themed as such, but come on they were having a separate room/dance floor for swing dancers what could i do?
So I'm curious did anyone else wear vintage to their prom?

(not my date, or the best picture, but the pink on the dress is flocked!)

Are gentlemen permitted to post on this thread? I made an attempt at looking vintage with my dinner jacket for my prom a few weeks ago, though I wasn't as successful as I could have been had I had more time to buy a better DJ.

I've posted one of these before, but here we are again:

My dress was from Holt Renfrew in 1957. The label says "Maggie Stover." Everyone gushed over how fantastic we looked, and the photographers took extra pictures for themselves I guess we were quite striking, especially since my boyfriend was the only one in the history of our highschool to ever wear a kilt!
