Was the ANJ3 officially ever issued in russet, or just seal….?

Hi All,
I know very few of these were ever issued before the cotton and nylon flight jackets took over, but I was wondering if anyone out there knows iif they were only ever issued by the US military in seal or if russet was also an option, as per the A2?

I have one in seal. But, most I have seen are the seal. I also have an anj3a. It reminds me of the earlier 40s fit. The leather has that nice shine to it.

ANJ3 really is a great design that was short lived. I am gonna vote for seal too.
