So what's your cup of tea, shall we say? Martini, beer, or just a shot. Tell me what it is that yoose likes to have tugging at your arm trying to wet your whistle.

At the bar, it's vodka tonic with a bit of lime.
For coversation, it's a bottle of California red, usually a cabernet.
For celebrations and romantic moments, it's Bollinger Grand Ane' or White Star.
With steak, a bottle of my precious Yeungling lager imported from Pennsylvania by the case in the back of my Grand Cherokee. ;)

When I'm not sipping an egg cream, hot-cha-cha-cha, I'm into Guiness, real ales, bourbon, brandy and single malts. I cannot resist my own well-made martinis, nor can I say no to a brandy sidecar.

Mostly Shiner Bock, a good Texas beer. But since I live in Fort Collins, CO, home of Odell's and New Belgium breweries as well as a few pub microbreweries, I like to sample the local product when I'm out on the town.

I used to pretty much like all of the above but time and health have altered my taste. I can drink about 3/4s of a 12 oz. beer in a month and that's it. That beer might be a Corona but favs are XXX, Modelo Negra, and Bohemia- all from Mexico.

Highballs anyone?

 For beer, it is usually a heavy duty one like Fred or Adam out of the bottle. If on tap an IPA of sorts or a Guiness thru the nitrogen tap only.

In Red wines give me a gnarly red Zinfandel or a Syrah or a jammy Cab.

Scapa is my favorite Scotch and then one of the Glenmorangie group.

Bourbon or Tennesee whiskies: Knob Creek and Gentleman Jack are the current leaders.

In Mixed I call for a Gentleman Jack Manhattan or a Tanqueray "10" Martini with an equal amout of Grey Goose vodka mixed in.

Tequila calls for Sauza Hornitos as the starter, with Patron and some of the high end ones to follow.

I like Grappa but tend to go for Germaine-Robin brandy, Metaxa brandy, Alsbach Uralt brandyand Cardinal mendoza brandy from Spain. Cognac is a heartburn starter too often.

"Here's to whiskey, so amber and so clear, not as sweet as a woman's lips, but a damned site more sincere!"

Warmest regards for the Chritsmas and Holiday season!

Chocolate coke when I'm out, but on a daily basis, it's water.

Call me a softy but, that's the way I like it.;)

PS. IBC does make a killer Root Beer! So does Henry Weinhard's!

For alcoholic imbibing, a simple brandy & ginger or Cape Cod.

For soft-drinking, a Cheerwine soda (in the glass bottles & 100% sugar!):

No one has mentioned the "Fedora Cocktail"?!:
Fedora cocktail:
Fill large Bar glass 3/4 full Shaved Ice.
2 teaspoonfuls Bar Sugar dissolved in little Water.
1 pony Curacoa.
1 pony Brandy.
1/2 pony Jamaica Hum.
1/2 pony Whiskey.
Shake well; dress with Fruit and serve with Straws.
I reckon it's called that in homage to all the fedoras that have been misplaced, sat-upon, &c., while drinking this!

Favorite, 1940's Legendre Herbsaint from New Orleans, and other "interesting" brands of green booze.

Non alcoholic stuff, being a Texan I like the cane sugar version of Dr. Pepper that is only made in Texas.

Hahaha, I thought I was the only non alcoholic;) Good to see I'm not alone!

A nice tall glass of 2% milk is not so bad ether!
