Not a very good picture of my Bradford thin ribbon conversion...it was originally an earlier 1960s red liner Western that I converted to this thin ribbon. I redid the brim the other day on a copy of a Strat flange that was made for me by 'Hatters Supply House of Colorado'...

This is closer to the hat's true color

...and, my Royal Stetson OR refurb that was done on the same flange as the Bradford. The brim on this OR is a bit more narrow than the Bradford...

The "not very good picture" is good enough to, yet again, see the quality of your work, Terry. I always love the rake on your hats. Nice job, sir.

Trying to think of something to say about this post-war Borsalino but the words are not with me today.

As you well know Alan, pictures paint a thousand words, especially your pictures. That Borsalino speaks for itself through your lens. Simple, classic and elegant.

You're welcome, Terry. By the way, thanks for the Hank Williams link. People wouldn't believe it, but I'm a bit of a classic country fan.

I like the look of the colour combos on that lid. I'm not familiar with Tesi. Can we see the inside?
    Nice hatstand behind you, too.

Thanks Steve. Here's the inside. It's my one and only Tesi. Made in Italy but found it in Amsterdam. The sweatband is very comfortable and it's a relatively versatile color for casual and formal. [IMG][IMG]

Thanks for showing, Scion. Versatile colour scheme indeed. A very modern Borsalino style of liner and logo, I'd say. Be interesting to know who's behind Tesi. Maybe @Daniele Tanto knows.

Thank you for your words. I got a little lost trying to express my appreciation of Borsalino offerings in the post-war era. Perhaps the tendency often seen to assigning an earlier vintage for Borsalino is the best praise one can give to a hat.

Turned out to be a two hat day today. I had to go out in the rain this evening, so I matched this Cervo, but Tonak made, Fedora with my oil skin coat. An umbrella kept the hat dry [emoji4][IMG][IMG][IMG]
