One of the nice things about working the gubmint schedule is getting holidays many others don't. So I'm into the third day of my weekend. Thanks to Ol' Chris, I got the car washed and made the penultimate trip around the yard with the Husqvarna, all while sleeping in (I made it to almost 7:30!).

So, off to pick up a six-pack of local brew in my only Italian hat, a Borsalino Ludeola. And a shirt honoring a great Italian-American composer.

Had to move around some boxes and 'stuff' in the boot and hat room for contractors coming this AM. I never know what I might find. This one's been here awhile. I won't say how long. I sat it aside because of some issues and...........Nice felt.

Seems to me, the only "issue" with that one Greg is it fits your head rather than mine. Nice re-find in the boot and hat room [emoji145]

Looks nicely worn to me. I have a similar 3X and have gotten used to it being kind of weathered. Love that you forgot you had it!

Good morning. An Adams Pacesetter fedora in "buckskin" was my choice for my morning forays. Adams made exception hats for a reasonable price in the day (50's).

Best, Eric -

Man! That hat has to be the nicest I’ve ever seen! Love the color, ribbon, bow, brim crown, c-crease , model, make, condition everything!!
Not one thing about it is underwhelming.
But I’ve noticed that ALL your hats are perfect. I AM SOOOO JEALOUS, Short Balding man! [emoji7]
I’d give up my height and hair for hats like yours. [emoji6]. As far as my hair’s concerned I’m already a quarter way there...

Today....i haven’t sported this one for awhile. The ribbon grabbed my eye so i grabbed the hat to go.
The felt is what one expects of Dobbs from back in their heyday. One can only imagine what it was like hat shopping back then. Grand no doubt.
The wide ribbon really sets this one apart.
Dobbs Forty from the 40’s or 50’s idk.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: many thank you's for the kind comments on the Borsa’s.

That’s just a wonderful hat. Dobbs made some pretty hats back in those days.

VS silvermist with wine ribbon and a blue and "white" highlight on the bow keep. Art pounced this one light, put in a ventilated sweat, a removable liner and a tippet.

WOW! Your silvermist has ALL the feaures. What a glorious hat.

The Borsalino has my knees go all wobbly, Eric. Spectacular hat.

Thanks sir. I do reach for this hat a lot.
