To everybody who's sick or who has sick loved ones - get better!
Now where's that mail lady? I was hoping to sneak two boxes home before I went to the hospital but she was on the road before the Post Office opened and now the wife is awake on the couch and she has eyes like an eagle, hearing like a bat and a memory like an elephant.
Then again, she DOES have a lovely floral bouquet sitting on the living room table so perhaps all will be well...

New to me Royal Stetson Playboy. I posted additional shots in Playboys on Parade yesterday, for those interested in such things.

Very nice addition, Jim. Great catch.

Classic is classic for a reason. Wonderful hat, Perry.

I must be coming down with a bug. Just didn't feel like myself this morning. Barbisio hommy.

Cool new look. A Barbisio homburg is always a good choice.

Splitting wood to add to my rick cord. I wore a Gannon Executive for my efforts. Natural beaver felt with gill ribbon treatment was my hat choice. I used a cotton hankerchief to wipe my head and leather sweat during my efforts. Warm 15'f weather found me down to my flannel shirt in no time. Hats do excellent work.

Best, Eric -
That one certainly does: makes me happy just to look at it!

Wearing one of my Resistol Stagecoach conversions in Chestnut this a.m. The hat is actually much more brown than it appears in these pictures. It sports a tall straight crown with a dark brown 6 ply mid ribbon and a 2 5/8 snap brim...

Today I am misusing a hat built for gala evenings.

Super Flechet "Century" size 59 or 7 3/8 US NOS
View attachment 212372
The hat has the shape of a homburg without the edging of the brims and is more contained in the proportions.
The felt is black finished with short hair, called in French "Flamman"
View attachment 212373
The felt is of light consistency, but quite stiff in the parts, the brims, which must be in place.
I should have an evening suit and instead I'm easy and comfortable

After the pictures a strong wind started, so no hat only a cap to walk in the afternoon sun
Thanks for the likes and compliments to you for your wonderful hats showed everyday:)
Lots of heather felts lately. I can only be happy. We need to revive the "heather and yon" thread.

It was drooping from old age.
I like the old Golden coach pin in the bow.
Great hat, Randall. You did well with the brim.

Fantastic, Bob. Glad I can say "wish it was my size" for once.

Just beautiful.

My new to me vintage Dobbs Twenty on this North Texas rainy day.

Looks like it can take that rain, Bill. Very nice.

Thanks Stefan.

Thanks again, Stefan. Your slim brim homburg is a gem.

Thanks,
Michael
