A discussion in another thread about a hat made for Montgomery Ward had me reach for this 1930s midnight blue Dunderry

Nice!
Thanks Perry! Hats for everyone!

Thanks Joe! If my past luck holds out I won't be able to quit my day job. I did match the Power Ball (only) last play, so this one is free! A cheap day dream ...

Thanks ET! Looking at these pics I think the first thing I'll buy is a haircut (unless I decide to go full-on recluse and let it grow out to @TheOldFashioned 's length).
I'll remember you said that, Bob:rolleyes:

Happy New Year Friends!
Between holidays and needing a break from hats it's been a little while ..
These two guys are all that's crossed my path in months. The Resistol Regent came first and as new.
The Royal Deluxe not so much but it's been really fun bringing her back around ; )
Been going over old posts and "new" hats .. wow, the hits did not stop coming!

Early Stetson Whippet in what I would call steel-blue. (It reminds me of the Marathon steel-blue). I was able to acquire this from Brent aka @deadlyhandsome and feel very lucky to have it in my grouping. It arrived yesterday so I had to give it a first wear today.

Love the Triumph. The outfit is not bad either.

View attachment 298152 My Thedi leather. Super thick cowhide. This is going to take forever to break-in. BTW, I hope this is the correct way to post to this forum...

Another great, clean Resistol, Bob!

Thanks Randall. I think it would fit better with a fresh haircut. I'll see if I can get my wife to man the shears tomorrow and give me a buzz cut.

Glad to see you end up with that stellar Whippet Bill. You wear it well!
