View attachment 483722 Playing hooky today—my son has a couple days off school so took him and a friend skiing in the Catskills.

My Stetson Sovereign Twenty Mode Edge, my fist vintage hat, remains my go to for bad weather—and happy to have it today!

Hope you all are well!

David
The Catskills were my old stomping grounds. Born and raised in the Greene County area of NY.

Greene County
Named for Maj. Gen. Nathanael Greene

That seems to have been a thing:

I'm a native of Greene County, Missouri.

"The county itself, named for Revolutionary War hero, Nathanael Greene, was officially established on January 2, 1833. Its boundaries encompassed most of southwest Missouri, having previously been a part of Wayne County. Its present boundaries were finalized in 1858."

Bob, Somewhere I have a list of all the places named after Nathanael Greene. I am familiar with Nathanael Greene Memorial/Close Park near you

Then you, sir, know a thing or two about winter weather! It was beautiful but after two days I was very happy to get back our over-heated apartment.
Yes, sir. Living right on the edge of the snow belt. Nowhere as severe as Buffalo. Snow tires with studs were a requirement as were as set of tire chains stored in the trunk.

As was Greene County Arkansas, the native county of many of my ancestors.
