Beautiful hat. I have never seen that kind of corrugation on a sweatband. What can you tell us about it?

Thank you, I got it from our own Bill Hughes.

The scarf, btw, is the hood of one of my bajas.

Stetson Zephyr Weight. This is one of those hats that has a mind of it's own. I can't for the life of me get the brim to stay up. But I can live with it!
That good looking Marine in the pic behind me is *NOT ELVIS*, That's my Dad, circa 1954.

Lovely Westlite! Seems to be quite a bit of variation among them.

I love the brim on that Resolut Stefan! Beautiful Marathon, great lines and brim binding.

Good to see you Esther! How are things going with you?

    Beautiful color, scary, but beautiful.

That is one special hat Scotty, love that name. The crease suits it's overall class!

Impressive O'Farrell Bob. Terry's beater is a looker too!

I would hope this gear would suffice without going full Admiral Byrd on us! Furry goodness Michael.

Incredible condition on that Knox Rick. Love that sweat.

Man, that moss green looks so good in the sunshine. Full boat class with this one!

Still going through remodel hell, Phase II (bedrooms) is in full swing. It is crazy that all the contents of three little bedrooms would fill the house and half of a garage. Other than hats, I have toooooo much stuff! Going out for another Goodwill donation run this morning (finally getting the wife to purge her closet), wearing my new Game Bird. Stingy, but heather to keep it interesting. This may be the only hat I wear brim up for Bob. Not my style, but the hat really wants it.

Whenever I have a disobedient felt, I just take it to Ignacio. A felt able to resist him has not been invented yet.

I'm not a fan of green hats, but I think I'd make an exception for that one, Jim. Great shape and the bow is killer!

Thanks, Mike. The Resolut was kicked out of the display cabinet to make room for the Portis homburg and not because it was a wall flower to begin with. The Marathon is fresh in. A stunner! Full report in the new hats thread soon.

Today....for Willow watch duties i thought i’d try and re-crease a hat during nap time. Pretty tired of steep down dip diamonds so i raised the roof to a center crease with long side dents. Not sure if it’s a keeper but it def made me wanna dunk this one in a gas bath. Been afraid but that big stain gotta go!!
Borsalino Marque Grand Luxe 5x. A very wonderful suede felt.
    Be well. Bowen
