Art Fawcett to top off my red, white and blue attire today. This is the second custom I ordered, measured by Art in his Medford shop, and the first custom I took possession of.

Did something wrong in 1st reply..
Classic looking fedora and some classy looking brogue wingtips that you’re styling there. What make are they?

After a good drenching at the Reds game a couple of weeks ago, I had to do a little, minor, work on the San Antonio before putting it back into action.

I've shared this Stetson previously, but with a brim rising and falling eratically.
I finally put some steam to it, so am wearing it out.
I stopped shaping it because there's still a lot of dust deep in the straw. I need to work on cleaning prior to any dents.

And I decided to bash on old ugly while I was at it. I do have to go work.

Looking good Michael and both hats look great.
Thanks Scott. it was a tough choice, I like both of those hats. But in reality I ended up spending most of the day under my Amish straw hat as it was nasty muggy out.

I fully support your decision!
Why am I not surprised. Ha ha.

Yesterday and today.

All great hats and looks. I can see I really need a blue Hanover Square to keep my Marathon company.

Thanks,
Michael

J.Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" possibly later 1930s. The felt is really fantastic. Could be Wild Hare + Smooth Finish. Just all around fantastic. Click On Photos!

It's highly possible that JHS came up the hanging cord. My only pre WWII examples are JHS.

J. Hückel´s Söhne Promotional Pocket Mirror, Otto Abendthum, Zella - Mehlis (Thuringia, Germany), possibly 1930s.

Two mighty nice finds, Steve. Great navy bordering on midnight blue colour of the Hückel, not to mention those deep wide pinches.
The pocket mirror is just one of your many hat ephemera pieces I would love to come across.
Thanks for sharing.
