Another beauty, Daniele. The pleated ribbon looks outstanding.A Borsalino with a particular color on a sunny day
Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore size 6 or 59 cm. US 7 3/8
Color is "Corteccia" and the ribbon is "Alpestre". Not so easy to catch the exact color, so there are different lights
Soft felt finished with short hair and pleated ribbon. Very malleable felt as most of the Borsalino coming from the "M Hutter" shop in Meran
The brim have a closing seam typical of Borsalino. One on the edge, the other on top of the brim
A heartfelt thanks for your likes and appreciation
Have a nice weekend
Another one I was waiting to see in action. The Dr M is only appropiate, Max, although it does have a bit of a Bond-villain ring to itA German Stetson today. Thank you, Stefan, and thank you for the Dr. M.

Too cold. Storms again with high winds. Calls for a stiff baron bowler.
That is a real beauty, Mike. Gracious (and brave!) of Anthony to let it go. But we already knew he must have the heart of an ox to let go of his fabulous collection.Just arrived and I'm in love. From our own Anthony Amodeo a beautiful Borsalino Featherweight c1945. Felted edge, light as a popcorn fart and incredible felt. Like so many of Ant's hats, this one is a pristine example, perfect in all respects. Wish it was a little warmer today (unusual snow storm for Oregon coming), but I'll just admire it in my easy chair. I'll be doing some major catching up this evening, been away too long from the family here.
