Wearin’ my new Dobbs Fifteen Guild Edge today. Got it from eBay. Unbelievable that no one bid on it, and I’m not complaining.
A 55 model so says the tag, If I’m reading it right. The hat body is so soft, yet sturdy. Best body I’ve ever held (and have several older Dobbs) other than a certain hot brunette I once knew. Unfortunately, I let her slide through my fingers...wont happen with this beauty.

Today....a lot of good old black westerns posted lately so i thought i’d break out this old war horse for the day.
Close to a Century ago Stetson made some magic felt. No other hat i have molds, shapes and stays like this one.
Such a treat.

You're welcome, and I know that you do. Something about the colors and the subtle contrast between felt and ribbon catches my eye and makes me keep searching. Such a great collection that you have and I would guess one of the finest collection of early Stetson westerns East of the Mississippi. I'm not sure folks around here realize that.

Perfect combo Michael. I like the pullover under the jacket and the coordination between colors
Don't worry about bands on stage and your personal memories...this summer I found a man I haven't seen for twenty years, that told a story about a concert we went together, completely disappear in my mind, I believe I was in Marocco, but at the end it was true I was at the concert, he had a picture of both with the announcement of the concert on the back

That is a nice pair of black hats, Stefan. Is there a double row of stitching on the edge and then another wider double row inside of that?
