There's a good friend of mine, whose surname is Cavanagh, he would love a Cavanagh hat, I would love to treat him to such, problem is, once bought, I wouldn't want to part with it.

The Chapéus Cury is so 1930's Hollywood, how I love it. But good as it is, it's well and truly upstaged by the size of those turned up cuffs. Am-a-zing!
I'm the kid at Christmas, get a new hat and nothing can prise it off. What do you think?

An Akubra day today. Fed IV for work, followed by a Campdraft to pick up my car after getting its WOF (actually called shaken over here, in New Zealand, WOF is warrant of fitness. Not sure what it’s called in other countries).

Sounds official, like you must have it to drive. We have certain things which are needed, but don't need a certified document. I usually get pulled over and warned If a headlight is out.
Bye the way, nice work shirt. Same shade as the ribbon.

You do need it to drive. It’s a certificate of road worthiness.

Thanks. The shirt’s a Paul Smith I picked up ultra-cheap on a local market.

A beautiful blue, Brent. Nice wide ribbon and bow treatment, too. I'm a sucker for those.

That really is a fantastic color blue

As others have said, a truly beautiful blue and a superb Gannon. You might wonder why there's a blue square beside your photo, Brent. It's the colour used by the RAF, The Royal Air Force. It's not impossible to buy a hat, or anything else in RAF blue here in the UK, but it's not that easy either. Must make a mental note to ask Cheryl, my milliner if she has any RAF blue felt.

A commanding lid—very cool!

Great colour and shape, Brent.

Beautiful, Steve. Nice subdued colours.

Thanks, all. Gannon knows how to make a nice hat!
