Good morning. My walkabout was taken under the brim of a VS Executive (blue mist beaver felt). This hat was inspired by the Adam Pacesetter in Executive quality.

I wore a Stetson with a stitched brim treatment while enjoying some morning cold brew.

Morning yard chores I completed while sport'n a Stetson Bantam. This blue fedora was made in Australia.

I dropped some smoked ribs off at the neighbors house. My neighbor gifted me with a six pack of ale. I changed my hat and wore a Gannon Beachcomer for the visit. This hat was inspired by the Stetson Beachcomer of the same name.

Cheers from Minnesota, Eric -
Splendid as always, Eric. The VS Executive is absolutely stunning!

The hats of the week. Hardly a peeking eye this week as I've struggled with an inflamed eye for most of the week. No fun that. The hats were fun though.

Borsalino Caffe (unsharp for some reason). It deserves better and will get another chance the coming week. View attachment 616578
My goodness. I absolutely can not pick a favorite this week! Fabulous

Even with just one fully working one, you still have a damn good eye for hats, ties, shirts, jackets, and coats, Stefan.

I love 'em all.

Hope the inflammation is on the mend, my friend.

Thank you, Steve. I need to be extra sharp; seems I haven't spotted a decent hats in weeks now.

Interesting weave and good looking. What is it - paper, palm leaf? Is it stiff, flexible?
It is stiff and tightly woven, but very lightweight. According to the label (via Google Translate), it is “100% cotton fabric painted with pyroxylin lacquer.” I have learned that pyroxylin, or nitrocellulose, is also used in gunpowder and film, but when making a lacquer of this type it dries to a thin, clear film.
