What type of flight jacket is this?

Looks like a mix of an A2 and a G1 - with the snap pockets and the mouton collar. Anyone know what it is?

I think it's an M-422.

I don't think it is an M-422 or M-422a - those have regular buttons on the pockets, not snaps. Maybe a customised A-2??

You're right. Sorry about that. Did some more research and they are USAAF field modified A2 CBI.

The jacket in question appears to be an original Aero A2 with a theatre-added mouton collar. It is interesting to see a couple of B-3s still being worn.
