This is just a beautiful jacket made by Johnson Woolen Mills in Vermont for Police use. It's a short waisted design in heavy navy blue wool with two slash handwarmer pockets similar to the Johnson Field Jacket, but with several features specific to police issue, including badge loop, epaulets, side zippers, two chest pockets, but the most significant upgrade is the full quilted lining which in my opinion makes for a much cozier jacket than the standard model.
This Jacket was retired for the Berlin Vermont Police force. It's in excellent condition.
