How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

It's a size , gulp...48", but the numbers are within 1/2" of my 50's HB. Picked it up from the classifieds. I'm really hoping it fits. This was the jacket I was after when I ordered my 50's HB. I've wanted a Ryder forever. I was actually going to post a WTB for one in the classifieds and then this literally smacked me in the face!

It looks good as new! Nice catch! I did some number digging on the Ryder before as it is my favorite LW style too and it appears a size 40 has 21" PTP, and a 42 has 22" PTP, very consistently through various jackets and measurements I found. Going by this, size 48 shouldn't have much more than 24" PTP. This plus the taper through the body makes me confidently hoping it'll fit you!

I desperately hoping that if my 40" from Aero fits size up to a 44" a 48" will fit size down to a 44"!!

I think that the Ryder has a trimmer fit than the suburban, but not sure. Can't wait for you to get your jacket!!

I am nowhere near a true 48" but equally nowhere near a 40"...leather jacket Gods please shine on me!

It's very unlikely that will fits you if LW labeled 48, then it's either 46 or 48. My returned Suburban has almost exactly measurements from my Suburban 44 but fits smaller.

I strongly considered LW's Leathertogs as it is a stunning jacket. Alas, I have too many cross-zips so opted for the CHP. That in the Navy is going to be something to see, great choice!

A few of us recently ordered LWs, and Ton has a new-to-him jacket on the way. Funny how it seems to happen in spurts. A few Freewheelers here, a bunch of Thedi there. Now LW.

I have had Suburbans and a Ryder.
They do fit true to size. The Ryder was a little tighter than the Suburban- both were 4 oz at the time.

24.5" chest is a tiny 48" tho. Aero's come in at 26" plus at that size...I'll know if it's a flipper on Monday. I hope not. Stu recommended a size 46" for me when I ordered my j-23. Jaw clenched, fist bite until Monday I 'spose.
Numbers are awfully close to other jackets I own...wish me luck!

There may well be a Ryder size 48" back in the classifieds if that's the case. Trying not to overthink it too much. But we all know how that goes.
