How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

While waiting for my Bootlegger (shipped and probably arriving tomorrow), I'm hitting new levels of insanity. I just bought a jacket that I know won't fit me merely because it looks nice and I thought I may be able to gift it someone, hah!

Which one????

Congrats on this! I've been looking at that one for a while, too but how did you manage to get him the lower the price? It was something insane, wasn't it? Like $1K or so.

He wanted something like $1250 AUD for it. I think he originally had it listed at $800 AUD (correction, actually it was $1062.50 AUD), and I wrote to him and told him I thought it was worth more like $350 USD, or $500 AUD. He didn't agree, but was friendly about it, and we messaged back and forth. Said it originally retailed in the 1980s and 90s for 500 GBP. Then he raised the price up to where he had it, $1250 AUD, and it went unsold for I don't know how many months. I've probably been watching it about 3 months or so. (update: I actually first messaged him in late November, and had been watching it a while prior to that.) Then few weeks ago I tried putting in an offer for it for $500 AUD, which he didn't accept, but it let him know that I was still interested. I didn't make a follow-up offer, but eventually he wrote me and offered to come down to something like $750 AUD, which I thought was still too much. He eventually came down to $675 AUD, and I went up to $600 AUD, but I passed on his offer.

Then last week he switched from Buy It Now to Auction format, and opened the price at $650. I was planning on sniping it if no one else bid on it, which would have happened to morrow, but then today ebay threw one of those "15% off anything today only if you buy it through the mobile app" coupons my way, and so I wrote to the seller again and explained the situation with the coupon, and that if he'd be willing to end the listing early and sell it to me today, I'd use the coupon, it wouldn't cost him anything because eBay covers the difference, and I'd give him the $675 he asked for instead of the $650 he might get if I was the only bidder. 15% off $675 is close to $575, so we both came out of it ahead of where we would have been without the coupon.

Converting it to USD, I paid about $480, including shipping, which was about $62 USD. So, not a great price for an old Lee Trevor, but like I said close to reasonable, and still pretty good considering it's essentially new and unworn, I think, and I don't think there's another one out there in as good condition, so arguably worth about what I paid.

Heck of a nice guy, and one of the more pleasant I've had the pleasure to deal with on eBay.

Same seller has another NOS Lee Trevor, a different model, still listed, also at $650: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-le...538948?hash=item3d853f8a44:g:oB0AAOSw7Vpa5~kC

And I think that coupon is still good until 7pm Pacific time today: PSAVETODAY -- good if you buy anything using the mobile app today.

Buy one of MY jackets with it!

Ebay bugs out on me saying you don't have any items for sale.

I have a Cal-Leathers jacket from Lucky23 incoming.
So I want to sell a couple to make room.
Went to bottom of pile and pulled out a Enfield and Columbia in goat to sell. Measured, took pictures, tried them on.
I can't do it. I'm wearing one to go bowling now.
Haha! I fully understand. I just put my 1980s padded Columbia up on eBay and now Im seriously struggling with it.
